Days 18, 19 and 20 – Failing Miserably

I realise that I have failed miserably at keeping up with a daily post.  I mean, this one is for Saturday, Sunday and Monday!

I wonder where daily posters get their inspiration from.

As a mother, I would always have something to blog about, but I don’t want to have a parenting blog.  There are already hundreds…  No, thousands of blogs out there to do with parenting.  Although I subscribe to a lot of them, I don’t really care for reading how little Billy lost another tooth, or what colour little Roses’ nappies are…  I know how to look after my little man, and I know what is best for him.  And just because it’s best for him, doesn’t mean it would be best for the child next door…  Do you know what I mean?

However, reading the funny side of parenting is funny.  Things that you want to keep forever, or the things that you are so proud of your child for.  For example, a few months ago, my little man tried on his daddys’ size 13 boots, and I found it hilarious for him to try and walk around in them.  And another; yesterday, we were letting him have a little bit of nappy-free time, when he had a little ‘accident’ on the carpet.  He said that he still needed a ‘wee-wee’, and sat quickly on his potty.  Nothing new?  Well.  It is for us.  This was the very first time that he ever had a ‘wee’ in the potty!!!  *Super Proud Mummy Moment*

I’m still thinking of that vlog too.  I may do that tomorrow.  In fact, I will.  That will be my Tuesday, Day 21, posting.  I shall vlog about something, although now I am giving myself a challenge on what to actually talk about…

Any thoughts?
